Is it fair?

Yes. Roll Rivals uses Telegram's built-in dice, which are generated server-side by Telegram — no one can manipulate the outcome. Every payout is recorded on-chain with a Solscan proof link, so you can verify any transaction.

Use /fairness in a group to see dice distribution and role balance statistics across all games.

What wallets work?

Any Solana-compatible wallet that supports Solana Pay. Popular options include Phantom, Solflare, and Backpack.

What if I send the wrong amount?

If you use the payment link provided by the bot, the correct amount is pre-filled. If you manually send a wrong amount or wrong token (e.g., by tampering with the URL), the payment cannot be refunded.

Always use the payment link exactly as provided.

What if the game expires?

If either player doesn't pay within the time limit, the challenge expires and any payments already made are automatically refunded on-chain.

Can I play in any group?

You can only play in Telegram groups that have the Roll Rivals bot added and whitelisted. Join the official group at t.me/RollRivals to start playing right away.

How do I earn lower fees?

Play more games to earn XP and rank up. The platform fee decreases with your rank:

What is the jackpot entry?

A small fixed amount is deducted from each game's pot and added to the jackpot pool (e.g., 0.002 SOL or 0.20 USDC). If the winner rolls a 6, they spin a slot machine for a chance to win up to 100% of the pool.

How do group owners earn?

Group owners receive 25% of the platform fee from every game played in their group. Register a wallet with /setwallet and earnings accumulate automatically. Payouts are sent when the balance reaches the $5 USD minimum threshold.

Can I challenge myself?

Yes — self-challenges are allowed and are useful for testing. You'll play both sides and still earn XP.

What happens on a tie?

The game automatically rerolls until someone wins. Each tie round awards 20 bonus XP to both players.

How do invites work?

Each activated player can generate invite codes (default: 3 codes) using /invite in a DM with the bot. Share the code with friends — they use /join <code> to activate their account. When your invitee wins games, you earn 25% of their platform fee as a referral bonus.

What's the minimum payout?

There's no minimum for winner payouts — you receive the full amount instantly. For group owner and referral fee earnings, balances accumulate and are paid out when they reach the $5 USD equivalent threshold.
