Group Owner Guide

Adding the Bot

1. Add @RollRivalsBot to your Telegram group
2. Make the bot an admin so it can send messages and manage the game flow
3. The group must be whitelisted — contact the Roll Rivals team to get your group approved

Supergroup Requirement

Roll Rivals only works in supergroups. If your group is a basic group, Telegram will automatically upgrade it to a supergroup when you add admin features or enable topics. You can also convert it manually in group settings.

Setting Up Wagers

Configure which tokens and amounts players can wager in your group:

/setwagers SOL 0.1, 0.25, 0.5, 1
/setwagers USDC 1, 5, 10, 25

Players use /info to see the available wager options.

To remove a token:

/removewagers SOL

To reset all wagers to platform defaults:

/resetwagers

Registering a Group Wallet

Group owners earn 25% of the platform fee from every game played in their group. To receive these earnings:

/setwallet <your-solana-wallet-address>

Check your pending balances with /wallet (the bot responds via DM for privacy).

Fee earnings accumulate and are paid out when they reach the $5 USD minimum threshold.

To remove your wallet:

/removewallet

Topic-Based Gaming (Forum Groups)

If your group uses Telegram's Topics (forum mode), you can control which topics allow dice games:

/settopic    — Allow games in the current topic
/unsettopic  — Remove the current topic
/topics      — List all allowed topics

This lets you keep gaming activity organized in specific topics while keeping other topics game-free.

Fee Earnings

As a group owner, you earn from every game in your group:

• 25% of the platform fee goes to your registered wallet
• Fees accumulate per token (SOL earnings from SOL games, USDC from USDC games, etc.)
• Payouts are sent automatically when the accumulated balance reaches the minimum threshold ($5 USD equivalent)
• Use /wallet to check your current pending balances

Example Earnings

If a game has a 2.0 SOL pot and a 3% platform fee:

• Platform fee: 0.05994 SOL
• Your group share (25%): ~0.01499 SOL

The more games played in your group, the more you earn.
